PPA316

PPA-316-Sep01This week's card challenge is a template design by Patti MacLeith. The nice thing about the PPA challenges? Your cards don't have to be exactly like the template. They just have to be inspired by it!

I bought the "penned and painted" set from Stampin Up and I really wanted to use it. I thought this template could serve as an inspiration for my flowers.

TIP: Give a "natural" look to your stamped flowers by making each one a little different. Even though they are in a row, each blossom is rotated differently. Since this is a photopolymer stamp set, I bent the stem a little differently before I stamped each stem. Finally, I made sure the leaves were all on different levels.

Once my card was stamped, I felt like it was missing something. I decided to take out my Petite Petals stamp set and punch. I stuck some dimensionals on the back of them and used them to decorate my flower centers.

The card on the left was before I added the petite petal centers. It's good; but I like the finishing touches given to card on the right.

Here is a list of materials I used to create these cards. Click through to go to my online store. If you have any questions, just ask! If you don't currently have a Stampin Up Demonstrator, I would love to connect with you!
