PPA 315

Pals Paper Arts #PPA315I feel like there are so many beautiful paperworks that could be done with these colors. To be honest, I had a hard time deciding what to do. Whenever I find myself in that situation, I think of all my wonderful stamps and pick one! Then, just let the card create itself! I know it might sound weird, but I do this in floral arranging quite a bit. The key step is to take a step! Start. Sure, you might decide to change something, redo something, or you might surprise yourself and really like something!

The other challenge I had with this card, was seeing some of my Tombo glue coming through my more detailed paper dies. This brings me to this week's tip.

TIP: Use your wink of stella glitter brush, and "decorate" over any revealed, shiny glue spots.

I use the wink of stella at the very end - even after the embellishments.

I added the "Botanical Blooms" blossom at the end, because I knew I wanted to feature the So Saffron color as an accent. The Botanical Blooms dies are my go-to dies for anytime I need an accent, or want a creative way to tie Stampin Up's Designer Paper in throughout a card (or other paper project).

Here is a list of supplies I used, that are available for purchase. Let me know if you have any questions!

  1. Great texture to your card with the floral thinlit and botanical flowers. The dapper denim looks so sharp over the old olive. Thanks for sharing your creativity with the Pals this week.

  3. Your use of these colors are bold and fun. And, thanks for that tip, too. We do have to be creative with hiding our "strays". Thanks so much for including the PPA color challenge in your stamping fun this week, Valerie. Hope to see you in our gallery often.
