Heartfelt Sympathy

There are always a few cards that are good to have on hand. Sympathy cards are one of them. I like to give these to families that I assist in playing music for the funeral mass of their loved ones. As I play and sing, I also offer it as a prayer for all those attending, and the soul deceased. They are my spiritual family, and this is a little way for me to show that I care.

Here is a card featuring the "Heartfelt Sympathy" stamp set from Stampin Up!

Petals and Paper Class

I had a Petals and Paper class this past weekend, and had a BLAST! For those of you who don't know about this, I'm a floral designer and a Stampin Up Demonstrator. I take these 2 worlds of mine, and bring them together at my "Petals and Paper" class. Each participant makes a flower arrangement, a matching card and cardette (the little card that gets picked into the arrangement). The creations are tied together in a theme, a design element that they both share.
There's a new class every month, check out my calendar and join me for the next one!
This past week I focused on layering - an interpretation on the parallel design - in the analogous color scheme (ombre). Enjoy!

PPA301

Here is the PPA Challenge this week:
Pals Paper Arts PPA301

and here are those colors on my flowers:

This is what I submitted for the PPA301 challenge. I haven't used my little baby stamp set in a while, and thought this was the perfect opportunity.
I can't just make one card, as soon as I cut the paper for my card, I just had to use the other half! So, I had 2 cards :)
