Crib for the Christ Child

I know we are all excited for Christmas, and rightly so. But, let's remember that first we need to go through the time before Christmas (which is now). 

This is called Advent. A time we prepare for Christ's marvelous birth. 

Here is a nice activity to share with your kids. 

Print the template for making and crib and baby Jesus. Follow the instructions. Once everything is colored, cut and glued .... the real activity begins. Cut pieces of yarn (which then becomes "straw"). Fill the crib with "straw" of kind deeds, smiles and prayers to make a soft bed for the infant Jesus.
